    3. While showing up at a few points very passively and out of plot, war is the main character of the book, as Death is in The Book Thief. 2008 August Russo-Georgian war was rather heavy and for some people unbearable period of time, many people died fighting for unity of their homeland, many more were injured, many stayed homeless, many lost their family members, friends, second halvesYet there were people who didn't care even just for a bit. "-They took gay Amiko to battlefield!-Oh, Amiko"and nobo [...]

    5. Sex, drugs, expensive fashion and Goergia. Short stories about war and people living in it. Good and fascinating. I recommend it to everyone who's bored with this current literature.

მეტს ველოდი Still good.

    7. Recenze česky zde I have very mixed feelings about this one. I could have easily gave it 2 stars as well as 4.Did I like the book? No. But was it a good book? Well, I think it was. Let me explain.Message received, I got what the author intended to express by the book. (Well, based on the synopsis, I don't read his mind, just the book). How did he achieve it? He did not say "look at them, they are so shallow". You see it right from the narrator's personality which makes the impression much strong [...]

    9. Had the good fortune to meet the author at the Frankfurt book fair and immediately bought this book (in German tranlsation, my Georgian being lacking). A highly enjoyable and rereadable work. Highly recommended to lovers of absurdism, post-modern elements and fin-de-siècle.

    10. Crazy style, nutty characters, unreal reality, war somewhere in the background. Probably no one expected book like that when they took it in their hands. It impress me in some way. Ah, and it's full of sex ;)

Deshalb 3 Sterne
