The Fiddler s Gun Apr , Back in December, the demand for The Fiddler s Gun was a lot bigger than I expected and the book sold out completely right as Fiddler s Green was hitting the bookshelves That s a good problem to have, but it s difficult to sell the second book in a series when the first is no longer available. The Fiddler s Gun About the Book A.S Peterson s The Fiddler s Gun is an exciting, rollicking adventure it will touch the depths of your heart as its characters wrestle with human frailty, failure, love, and the quest for redemption. The Fiddler s Gun Plumfield and Paideia Jun , The Fiddler s Gun is equally honest and, in places, quite painful That said, Count, Copperfield and Les Miserables remain precious to me The ugliness in those books is justified, necessary, and honest Fiddler is, in many ways, less gruesome and hopeful And like those classics, it has important things to say about the human spirit. Self Published Design Review The Fiddler s Gun by A.S The Fiddler s Gun is clearly a cut above most self published book designs From the great care in the typography to the special effects achievable only through offset printing, to the quiet readability of the pages, the author has succeeded in creating a beautiful vehicle for his novel, one that can stand beside most any book from any source. 1. This supplementary novel to The Fiddler's Gun was my favorite part of both The Fiddler's Gun and The Fiddler's Green. Peterson really lets his wit fly in this short little addition. I laughed out loud more than once and fell even more madly in love with the crass and crazy Fin Button. If you read the other two, don't let this one pass you by. I smile just thinking about itbliofilesbookrating

    2. This was a funny companion to The Fiddler's Gun and Fiddler's Green that added some context and background to the people and history of the story. I found this enjoyable and humorous and it helped to explain some previously unexplained pieces of information while shedding light on previously unknown characters. While not necessary to understand the stories of the other books, it was a fun and short addition.

    3. A companion book to "The Fiddler's Gun", "Letters" is comical, outrageous, sarcastic, and clever. The "historical" documents, each introduced by the very witty A.S. Peterson, weave themselves in and out of Fin's story and narrate background stories and side tales. The writing style is lighter and more carefree than "The Fiddler's Gun", making this collection an amusing read to compliment the more serious adventures of Captain Phineas Button and her motley crew.

    4. After reading both books, I was missing Fin and her adventures. I found the book (and letters) very humorous. I really got a chuckle from the author notes. Thanks to A. S. Peterson for writing such exciting stories.

    5. I read this book after I completed The Fiddler's Gun. At first I found it kind of corny, but towards the middle I grew used to the style.
