    1. A fair-but-not-worth-rereading novel of pre-Pearl Harbor Carribean-to-Lisbon trade and refugee smuggling. I've always been interested in the Lisbon connections in WW II, so I found this interesting. The writing is mediocre, the characters 2-D, and the plot is a bit telegraphed.
