    1. This book is about how three kids jump around time to fix the breaks in history that were caused by the violent cataclysm. Dak, Sera, and Riq find themselves in Babylon. They get there just before the town is attacked and destroyed by the Mongol army. They came here in order to save the writings of Aristotle from its main library. The three kids to the Mongol war camp to try and talk with Hulagu. But Dak and Riq get captured and Sera cant convince Tusi to save the writings of Aristotle. Dak and [...]

    2. My boys continue to be completely enthralled, but some of the magic is lost for me. One of the reasons being they leave off at the end of each book headed for some mission that sound absolutely fantastic - but then the next book picks up at the end of that mission. So they keep "fixing" history, and yet we know nothing about what they actually did. I've actually begun to wonder if they originally left off the way they do as a way for the author of the next book to pick up the series. But then ea [...]

    3. Steven has really taken to this series. After reading a couple in the series, I found that I didn't feel that it was necessary to read them in order particularly since they are mostly authored by different authors. This one follows the formula and presents some history and excitement in an entertaining manner for young readers. Entertaining enough for adults for the quick reads that is not painful and makes it a worthy alternative to videos and video games for long trips. I was thrilled that Ste [...]

    4. I received this book through Net Galley. As soon as I began this story, I knew I had discovered a series that I would heartily recommend to my library students. The writing is well-done, the story is exciting and adventurousd history lessons are painlessly included. Three young people are able to travel through time, using an Infinity Ring. Their mission is to repair Breaks in time when events did not turn out the way they were meant to. They are hindered by normal events and by Time Wardens and [...]

    5. Dak, Sera, & Riq continue their journey through time, trying to fix the Breaks and avoid the Cataclysm. In this adventure, they are in ancient Baghdad on the eve of the Mongol invasion. It is up to the three of them, with help from the local Hystorian, to save the great works of Aristotle from destruction. Unfortunately, there are several well-placed Time Wardens, trying to stop their every move. Cave of Wonders is another strong entry in this exciting series. A must read for fans of histori [...]

    6. In Cave Of Wonders Dak, Sera, & Riq continue their journey through time, trying to fix the Breaks and avoid the Cataclysm. In this book, they are in ancient Baghdad at the time of the Mongol siege. It is up to them to save the great works of Aristotle from destruction. Cave Of Wonders is A another great book about time travel and adventure. I loved this book along with all the other Infinity Ring series. I would recommend this book to readers who love science fiction and a great adventure. I [...]

    7. Another fun addition to this great middle-grade series! Dak, Sera, and Riq are off on another adventure and I always wonder how they'll possibly get through it, but they always do. My kids are loving this series and the fun and creative ways this trio has to go about making changes in history.

    8. I am thoroughly enjoying this series! One thing that really struck me this time is what a great job the various authors have done in keeping the characters consistent. Can't wait for the next read!

    9. Could this series get worse? EhI doubt it. I suppose they could start losing the ability to write an intelligible sentence.Amazing how much better it would be if they just included a little blurb at the end of each book about how this really occurred in history, because I could excuse the awful plot if it had an educational element to it. But because they are alternate history that goes to correct history, children don't know what is true and what is the alternate. It's also convenient that they [...]

    10. This one was a big step up from the others. I liked this one a lot more. The plot is getting intense now. Excited to move on with the series!

    11. Once again the writers working on the Infinity Ring series have placed the characters in a pivotal moment in history and allowed them to interact with famous historical figures. In this fifth installment, the kids (Sera, Dak, and Riq) arrive in Baghdad just in time for the grandson of Genghis Khan to attack the city with the Mongol hordes. While Europe is still in the Dark Ages, Baghdad is home to many libraries and scholars. The Hystorians believe that copies of Aristotle's key works are stored [...]

    13. While this was a good installment of the series, I wouldn't call it a great one. Even listening I finished the others within a couple of days, slower than I could read them on my own, but still interested enough in the audiobook to keep returning to hear more. With this one I wasn't gripped enough to keep coming back to listen each night and it took me quite a while to listen to it all. I mean it had a lot of interesting history, much that I wasn't all that familiar with myself so that was a bon [...]

    14. Spoilers The Cave of Wonders is a continuation of the Infinity Ring series. In this book the time traveling Hystorians find them selves in Baghdad. This time they have to save Aristotle’s works about the great breaks, which are being stored in the House of Wisdom. They arrive a few days before the seven day seize from the Mongols. They ally them selves with the current Hystorian and try to convince their king to surrender to avoid the attack. That plan doesn’t work, so they try to convince t [...]

    15. Cave of Wonders is a fantasy book in which three young adults, Dak, Sera, and Riq travel back in time to Baghdad Iraq, to the year, 1258 to fix one of the great breaks in history. They need to save some books from the House of Wisdom written by Aristotle before the SQ time wardens and the mongols, who are about to attack the city, destroy them. They first start off by trying to find the local Hystorian. When they do, they have to come up with a plan. When one of their plans finally works, they a [...]

    16. In the year 1258 near the city of Baghdad, the trio of time traveling Hystorians, Dak, Sera, and Riq find themselves trying to 'fix' another break in history. This time, they are attempting to save Aristotle's great works for all eternity before the invading Mongols destroy the city and burn the books which house these important works. As with all The Infinity Ring books, they are up against the SQ and the Time Wardens, but also find allies in other Hystorians who are placed throughout history t [...]

    17. Dak, Sera and Riq have to travel through time to repair breaks and this time they are transported to Baghdad in the year 1258 right before the Mongols destroy the city. Their goal this time is to save the book written by Aristotle about the Great Breaks including the last Great Break. This book was so full of adventure and while Dak is constantly giving out history facts (much to the annoyance of Sera and Riq) it does not seem overwhelming to readers and they may find it interesting. This is a gr [...]

    18. I rated this book three because it wasn't that bad but it was a little. The thing I like about this book is the library part.

    19. The Infiniy Ring series continues in Cave of Wonders by Matthew Kirby (Icefall). This time Sera, Dak and Riq are in the Ancient Middle East to prevent te ancient libraries in Baghdad from being destroyed when the Mongols attack. Filled with the same types of thrills as the rest of the series Cave of Wonders is an exciting read. The Infinity Ring series is a multi platform series that may appeal to reluctant readers because of the onine game aspect that adds to the story. Ultimately, unless you w [...]

    20. With each book, I feel more strongly that this is a fascinating premise for a series. There is so much history in each of these books that I feel like I'm learning a lot, but I'm not being too bogged down by it. Dak, Sera, and Riq are still great characters for this type of story. They each have such strengths and weaknesses that they are completely relatable. I liked that they started working together better in this book. In the last book, they were too disjointed for me. Part of their strength [...]

    21. I've had my ups and downs with the series (seriously, "for the love of mincemeat" is not a thing, and is not going to be a thing if I have anything to do with it), but this volume I found more involving than the others. Maybe because it had something to do with saving a library, an action I find most worthy, or perhaps because it reminded me of the saving of the Library of Alexandria in Egypt. In any case, Dak, Sera and Riq are starting to grow on me, and so long as this series doesn't completel [...]

    22. A transliteracy time travel adventure linked to online games. This book takes place in Baghdad where Riq, Sera and Dak must save books housed in the house of Wisdom library (written by Aristotle)in order to fix the break in time. They travel with the Mongols, end up imprisoned often facing the SQ as they proceed on the quest to save the future.Adventure, time travel, historicalAges 10-14 yearsBook 5 of the Infinity Ring seriesinfinityringholastic

    23. Another adventure story as our teenage heroes struggle to save an important book in Baghdad - a book that could change the course of the world. Some interesting character development happening here. Dak is as irritating as ever. And Riq's all moody about his changed past.Nothing extraordinary about these books, but they're fun to listen to and an interesting way to learn about history - albeit some of it is obviously wrong, since they have to fix it to stop the breaks.

    24. Infinity Ring: Cave of Wonders by Matthew J. Kirby is a book about three kids best friends who are always playing around and having fun and they find this device called the infinity ring and go on lots of dangerous and fun adventures. I thought this was a very good book and I truly could not put it down. There were lots of mysteries and cliff hangers. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves action and scary mysteries.

    25. Set in Baghdad as the Mongols are poised to invade the city, Sera, Dak & Riq must again face obstacles as they work to repair breaks in history. This time, though, the stakes are higher. Everything they've done up to this point will be of no value if they can't complete this mission, too. Besides Abi and the Kaliph, they also encounter Tusi, the astronomer/advisor of Hualaga Khan, all without knowing who is the Hystorian and who is the enemy SQ #bookada

    26. All in all I enjoyed this book it came to me in the mail as an uncorrected proof from an unknown person. For only reading the 5th book in the series I missed some things and a bit juvenile for my usual choice but a very creative book I think I personally would have liked it I little more at my age range or at least young adult. never the less a good book to read for some fun.

    27. The kids are at it again, only this time, they are in Bagdad, and they have to fix the main break in time. Once again, they must get their answers, find the Historians to help them, and watch out for Time Wardens. However, Bagdad is only days away from being demolished by an invading army, which makes their task even harder.Another fun book in the series. Great, clean adventure for kids.

    28. This one is my favorite by far.Even though the characters are under developed and super whiny, I enjoyed this one.The history had me interested and hooked. This series has been pretty decent but this one is my favorite. The characters held it back from getting 5 out of 5 stars.I'm ready to read the 6th one.
