    1. Although the pace of the story seemed to lag in places it allowed for the clear development of the plot. After first questioning the format of the three perspectives during the first book it became clear as to how they would converge and was confirmed within the second book. I believe Ike Hamill has produced an interesting piece of work combining human nature, legend and science. I was left with questions as to how some things were resolved within the plot as well as the accuracy of the legend a [...]

    2. I love this book, I could read it again. This book scared me to death, and I love horror books, but this one was so different. All the people I loved died and, at least a few I really liked lived on. This had the most unusual plot for a book, it surprised me all the way through, sometimes I even yelled out loud, I cried real tears and shook till I had to lay the book flat to read it, other times I had to just get up and leave it for a few minutes. The characters were amazing and were so develope [...]

    3. Hamill absolutely hit it out of the park with this gilded trilogy. I was hooked write away with the strange story of Crooked Tree and his family, needing desperately to know more I met two more characters with separate story lines. All three stories converge in the end and the suspense, thrill and terror never cease. There were some genuinely scary and chilling scenes in this book. The characters were all well built and the story well written. I was literally on the edge my seat the entire book. [...]

    4. The Hunting TreeIt was very interesting. The descriptions were very visual. It is so hard when no one takes you seriously when you are a kid.

    5. When I started reading this book I wasn't quite sure what to expect. As I got into the book I was just a little confused at first but everything started coming together very smoothly. This book has paranormal, mystery, and science all wrapped up into one package. I was really impressed with the way this author took me to a different place that I had never been before. The stories felt real as if they could really happen. This is one trilogy I will be recommending to everyone that wants something [...]

    6. Paranormal Murder and MayhemI originally received this book from the author back in June of 2012. I just finished reading it and am hopeful will allow the late review. Ike Hamill's terrifying tale centers around a young boy who's horrific nightmares appear to be coming to life. The Hunting Tree is a mix of old folklore coming to life in modern day. A horrifyingly graphic tale which is well written and hard to put down!

    7. I think this book was one of the scariest that I have read of Ike Hamills, especially the haunted house where the ghost hunter dies early on. That part of the story really freaked me out. This was a great book. It was unlike any book I had read before. I liked being able to see things from the monster`s point of view and from point of view of different characters. I thought this story was well written and interesting.

    8. While not the best book I've ever read, I very much enjoyed this tale of modern-day paranormal research crossed with Native American lore. For me it was a page-turner and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. The end also contained a great twist that I never expected. The second half of the book did seem to contain many more grammatical errors than the first half, as if hastily written and/or not proofread.

    9. Good thing this one was free. It was mildly entertaining but there were so many things in the plot that didn't add up that it was comical. The author is also in bad need of a proofreader. It seemed each book was sloppier than the previous. By the third, I felt like I was reading a first draft instead of a finished product. Don't waste your time on this trilogy.

    10. Supernatural, chases, ancient genetic mutations and monsters meant to prevent mass human changes. There were definitely faults in many parts of the story, some parts dragged and some parts were fun and lively. Some characters were more well built then others. Over-all, worth reading, but not the best books I've ever read, either.

    11. This began as a really effectively creepy paranormal story and ended up feeling like, " oh no! I'm going to miss my deadline!" I still gave three stars because until the last 5-10% of the book it was headed for at least four stars.

    12. Overall a good readIt started off very slowd for sometime had no clue how the two stories tied together. But once I figured out the entire plot it got better and I couldn't put it down.

    13. Great story! I really enjoyed this story and the characters involved. Now I carne wait to read the next book in this series.

    14. The book explained everything in great detail up until the end, when it fell flat. What happened to Davey? I don't understand.

    15. Not sure if I will read the rest too many things happening with no connection. The end started to pick up in the first but I am afraid not enough.
