    1. This was a really good story. I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series, that I already bought. The heroine grew up in foster care. She doesn't know who her real family is. Then, she is brought into a group of people that she is related to, and it turns out they have special mental powers--and so can she. In fact, she is the Queen and they are descended from a special group of matriarchal Vikings who escaped to North America hundreds of years ago. And she finds out she has to pic [...]

    2. Awesome seriesI'm going to preface this review with the comment that I generally avoid ménage stories.t my thing. I've read a couple of books later in the series (out of order) and just had to back up and start at the beginning. I'm glad I did. Queen Tess's background is sad, and her ability to adapt and roll with the Vikings, psychics, and her web make this a quick read for me. Already bought the next 2, and I love that there are 3 interconnected series.

    3. I really like this one. The romance is slow and more or less, realistic. I was a little surprised at how fast she agreed to become queen, but it moved the story along. I like Otama. She is a feisty one. I kinda wish we would see more of the running the 'country' so to speak. I am a details girl, and like that kind of thing. This can be read as a stand alone, but there are other missing children to find, so it will continue. I will be checking out the rest.

    4. I received a free book in exchange for an honest review of this book. Good, now that's out of the way I can get to my actual review. I did receive this book as a free promotional thing from another author, and I love finding new authors to read. I devoured this book in one day, as in my opinion, it was THAT good. This story involved modern-day Vikings, two very Alpha men fighting over one strong-willed woman, a woman who has no clue the role she's being required to step into, and a long history. [...]

    5. I had this on my TBR list for awhile and decided to finally read it. This is set in modern times but deals with Vikings. It was a little bit odd but it kind of worked. I did not like that Tessa was not as mad about being drugged. Tess finds out that she is a descendant of royalty and is now a Queen but a queen needs a helper and apparently she now needs two. Something, that breaks with tradition. I enjoyed it but the ending was so abrupt. I literally had to go back and check to see if I messed s [...]

    6. Here is the link to my posted review. amazon/review/R1S9G3NThis was the first book I'd read from this author and I must say I was pleasantly surprised and intrigued. The introduction had me wondering what type of preternatural beings would be introduced. Accustomed to Vampires Shifters and Fae it was refreshing to find a book about tele and empaths. That they were Viking descendants was a great twist. The character development and exposure of information was fluid with the storytelling and keep [...]

    7. I really, really enjoyed this book! It took me on a ride that I didn't want to finish! Tess is one day an orphan with issues, the next day she's the queen. Harvey has been her one constant in all her years of term oil so making him her consort was a no brainier, they'd been half bonded for years. Ollie a huge Paul Bunyan of a Viking challenges Harvey for the right to be Tess's consort. Each male helps balance her out in their own unique way. She wants and needs both, but will these two bull head [...]

    8. Wow! How can you not love a modern day Viking? And two of them. Whew - romance, sexy times and a good dose of mystery, adventure and a few emotional ringers to keep the angsty mood alive. Great book, looking forward to reading the next few in the series. Enjoy! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    9. Great bookI really liked the story. I have read some of the later books and I enjoyed learning more about how it all started. It is an interesting relationship among the queen and her two consorts. The men are very different from one another but are equally devoted to their queen. I highly recommend the series and the other series with associated characters.

    10. Sold me on this themeThis just grabbed my interest and hasn't let it go. I have already downloaded the next book and can't wait to begin it. Author did a good job of creating the world and fascinating characters.
