    1. Hearts under siegeI loved this story, I recommend everyone to read this book. I thought it was well written. It had a lot of actionYou go girl. A job well done. I look forward to reading more of your books. 1/23/17. Kattie.

    2. There were a few things that had me a little weary such as the events leading to Alexandra and Thomas's first meeting. Thankful nothing too graphic was described and I like that about Kelly's writing, there isn't anything graphic or explicit in this novel. I would be willing to allow a teenaged reader to read this novel. It is a clean romance, by that I mean little to no sex scenes. GASP what do I mean? How can there be romance without sex right? 3. Hearts Under SiegeI thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I look forward to reading another book by Kathryn E. Kelly. Her stories keep you wanting more. Thank you.

    4. As has already been commented on, the characters in the version I read had completely different names. If it weren't for the fact that the plot outlined in the synopsis is otherwise the same, I would have thought I was reading the wrong book. There are several reasons for why I rate this so low. The characters themselves are a bit blah. There was inconsistencies in the formatting (words with no spaces, sentances in wrong places, etc). There was no clear definition in the time frame the whole book [...]

The format and characters are stock staples of this type of romance novel, but imposed on them are a bevy of extraneous details and side players which end up tying into nothing. I'm a reader who adores details. Unfortunately, these details felt like there was no imagination behind them, and I didn't believe them. The more I think about this book, the less I like it [...]
