    2. As always I enjoyed this latest I Am Number Four novella. This time, we learn more about Guard's experiences since landing on Earth. She has been busy trying to cover the Gardes' tracks and gathering intel on the Mogs and their ship. She has also been trying to get the word out in the ET-believing community about the presence of evildoers on their planet - through which she made contact with Mark James. She is determined to help the Garde in any way she can and avenge her loved ones' deaths. Can [...]

    3. Conflicted on how to rate this. Love the world of this series, but it is becoming too commercialized. Meaning it was a straightforward story that provided only filler information that wasn't in previous books. It just rehashed scenes already seen in other books and filled in a few blank spots in Lexa's timeline. The writing was very medicore. The one scene where she gets the sh** was what I wanted to read, but it was superficially glossed over and poorly written. Left a bad aftertaste of what we [...]

    5. This book was okay, and I think I would have enjoyed it more if I would have read this before The Fate of Ten. All of this was exactly what happened in that book, except it was from Guard's point of view.

    6. I quite like reading about Guard - without spoiling anything, I'll just say that they're definitely going to be crucial to the story later on.

    9. Continued report of the Guard. She helps from the background and rescues the Loric ship from the Mog. She teams up with Mark James to keep a web site of Aliens running.

    10. Continuing story of Guard after she meets up with Mark and Sarah. Now that the war has started they no longer have to hide. Lexi wants to convert the Lorien spacecraft to run on fossil fuels of earth. They have been in contact with Four and know their help is needed.

    11. Lexa's character is one of my female favorite character because just like Six, this woman is badass! I was even thinking that maybe Lexa has blood relation to Six because I can feel the same vibe on her while reading Lost Files #11 and this.

    12. Rating: 5 starsDisclaimer: This review is not spoiler-free.Posted at Aestival Reverie.----------At first I'm just curious about what happened to her within those years of being a shadow from the world, helping the Garde through the internet. But then I got somehow bored because there's so much technology language going on. I appreciate the tone though, because it's too different from Mark James' perspective and I really liked that the author spared us the time to go through the details of the cr [...]

    13. Enough saidEY WERE ALL CONNECTED VIA TIMELY EVENTSGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!I just thought about Six and Lexa being together as a bad-ass-hot-chicks-driving-the-Mogs-nuts-to-their-guts team and damn, they will be one hellavuh vicious predatory Lorics!Night fallsBy Lorien, we are ready. Over.I'm so up-in-downtown-on-my-feels excited for The Fate of Ten!

    14. This is the follow-on to ‘The Navigator’ and follows the story of Lexa – with her online persona ‘GUARD’.This is another excellent ‘Lost File’ and this time, we follow Lexa as she talks with Malcolm Goode, goes the Dulce Base, interacts with the FBI, and once again collaborates with Mark James. As with ‘The Navigator’ we learn a lot of interesting facts about the Loric, Lorien and the Garde, as well as some interesting things about the current plot lines. Lexa is a really inter [...]

    15. "The Guard" is a useless addition to The Lost Files and Lorien Legacies as a whole. In "The Fugitive," we were introduced to the Guard, AKA Lexa, one of three who had escaped Lorien during its destruction. I particularly liked the backstory provided in "The Navigator," which I feel is a more worthwhile addition to the series than this story is. I say that because we really get no new information, especially if you've read all of the Lost Files. A lot of the book is just a retelling of "Return to [...]

    16. "The Guard", is the twelfth in the "Lorien Legacies: The Lost Files" series of companion novellas to the "Lorien Legacies" books (which started with "I Am Number Four"). This one covers the continuing story of Lexa, the Loric hacker who managed to escape Lorien at the same time as the Garde in a separate ship. The story shows how she takes on the internet persona of "GUARD" as part of a long campaign to awaken awareness on Earth of the evil Mogadorians and their plans for conquest. It also cover [...]

    17. Nothing New | Review of ‘ The Guard ’ (Lorien Legacies: The Lost Files #12)The twelfth novel in the Lorien Legacies: The Lost Files novella series by Pittacus Lore, The Guard, published by HarperCollins is more of the same and nothing new as it follows Lexa on her living as a hacker and as the shadowy figure known as GUARD[]Read more of this post

    18. “I’ve waited years for this fight to arrive. I say we join the rest of the Garde and show the Mogadorians what this old girl can do. There’s no use hiding in the shadows anymore. It’s time we take the fight to them.”The Guard caught up where The Navigator left of. It is a story about Lexa, a Loric, who tries to help the Gardes on Earth. It's so overwhelming. The scenes happened way before and I feel tears in my eyes because it feels like being reunited with my friends. It's nice to see [...]

    19. The second half of Lexa's story. She spends the next few years isolating herself from others while hunting down info on the Garde but also covering their tracks from the Mogs. She does eventually track down Malcolm Goode, and uses his tablet, from Pittacus, to find where the second ship is located. She tries to get it but soon learns it is under Mog and US government control. Years later Mark stumbles upon her site and they form a friendship, that leads to an opening for her to finally retrieve [...]

    20. *taking a deep breath*I can smell it. IT’S COMING! FATE OF TEN IS COMING!I’m so excited!!!Theres an exerpt after I finished The Guard… IM SO FREAKING TEMPTED… (I think I read the first 50-100 words… but that’s it.) *grin* *MC’s Corner* Note: Spoilers.• Okay… so The Guard is the continuation of The Navigator. And I think a little tease on Fate of Ten.It’s the story of ‘Lexa’ and how she became the ‘GUARD’.• HOW MANY DAYS TO GO BEFORE FATE OF TEN?! @gleekidMC

    21. I hope you're ready for war.-G (view spoiler)["I say we join the rest of the Garde and show the Mogadorians what this old girl can do. There's no use hiding in the shadows anymore.""Hell, yeah. Let's kick some Mog ass."YES YES YES YES YES YES. (hide spoiler)]NO PUEDO ESPERAR A LEER EL LIBRO, NO QUIERO QUE TERMINE LA SAGA, TENGO MUCHAS EMOCIONES, AYUDA. ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

    22. So this novella in my opinion is the best one yet of the Lorien legacies!!! It explains a bunch of stuff and is just making everything fall into place Letting me see the big picture. Most of the other novellas for the Lorien legacies have been fun to read but don't really help understand, however this novella doesn't do that!!!Overall it was great and I hope to read more good novellas like this one in the future.

    23. So yeah I pretty much like everything that has to do with the world of I Am Number Four. This one (#12 already!!) was another great one, it explains a couple of things that haven't been explained and it fits really well between book 5 and book 6.These novellas contribute so much to the story. You should definitely read these if you've read the main series. Nowww all that is left is to wait for September 1st for the next book in the series :)
