    1. Despite being exceptionally short, this somehow managed to feel long and boring and I really don't know how it managed it. Seriously, no idea at all. Anyhow, what did I like about the book? Well, short story. It wasn't badly written, the writing style was readable and it wasn't utterly terrible. It therefore prevented being a one star book by a whisker.EDIT: I just noticed the author five starred her own book.     2. This book for 11-16 year-olds is beautifully rendered in the tricky first-person voice and a joy to read. David Fuller and his social reject best friend Kenny Finney grabbed my interest from the first page, and I rooted for them right to the end.
