    1. Couldn't even finish this book. Got this one and Sun,Sea and Murder from the Library thinking they might make a nice change of Location. I like to get to know the country, city etc of the main character's location in any series of novels. What a disappointment these books are. I ended up with a headache from trying to understand the conversations between Alvarez and his Superior. All in all, not worth the effort.

    2. I think my favorite part about this book was Salas' sarcasm toward and disdain for Enrique Alvarez. The story was simple enough, but I like Jeffries' minimalist style in writing. This is my first Alvarez novel, and I would like to try another.
